I've heard great things about Kelly's Closet, Lori's Bridals (I've also heard bad things about them, tho) LaRaine's and New Natalies.
Bridals by Lori! I loved loved loved them. :) Make an appointment on a weekday, it really helps.
I already have a Bridal's by Lori appointment set up, thanks for all the other places!
Layla, how did you buy your dress from weddingbee? did you list it on the classifieds? My dream dress is the Michelle Roth Marina, and they don't have it anywhere in GA, so I listed it in the classifieds here. But.... I am so scared to buy something i havent tried on yet.
Nope! I searched on here and found it before I could post it. :) I was so happy!
I bought it new and unaltered (the original buyer decided to buy something else) so it fit (other than needing standard alterations). It stinks you can't try your dream dress on. :( Have you called places in Chattanooga or Auburn or somewhere else close by that you could drive to and try it on?
I called places in Chattanooga looking for my dress, but they didn't have it. It might be worth a shot!!
I went to Kelly's and LaRaine. Picked my dress at LaRaine; I found they had more dresses closer to my budget. I recommend both to try different styles!
I got mine at Priscilla of Boston, but I LOVED LaRaine's and Kelly's Closet too. I visted both of them in addition to New Natalie's and Bride Beautiful. Bridals by Lori was last on my list, but I found "the dress" before I got there :)
Sweet Elegance in Decatur! The owners are the most lovely people - and fun too! And they had such a better selection at lower prices than places like LaRaine's, Bridals by Lori and Priscilla of Boston. I know I sound like I work there - I don't! I just dress shopped all over town and was so disappointed with what I found until I went there and found my dream dress. I was in there last week (one of my good friends found her dress there too!) and they mentioned they are having a sale of some sort coming up in the next week or so - I think it is definitely worth checking out!
