I would recommend Ladera, Jade Mountain, or Anse Chastanet for at least part of your stay. Sandals has 3 resorts on the island, but the other 3 would offer more of a unique experience. Please note that Ladera closes every year for the month of September.

I highly recommend Ti-Kaye Village (www.tikaye.com), we stayed there on a special occasion and it is amazing.  AMAZING.

We’re staying in a rondoval suite at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian.  Since we haven’t been yet,  I can’t comment on the experience, but the pictures were very impressive!  We also love the fact that it’s all inclusive.  I’ve heard good and not so good reviews on Sandals resorts, in general.  I know some people who say it’s not so great and others who really rave about it.  So I guess Fiance and I will have to form our own opinion.  We’re super excited about it, though.  Best wishes as you continue your search for the perfect honeymoon spot 🙂

We just returned from a vacation with friends to St. Lucia and loved it!  If you stay at a Sandals you can go between the 3 properties via a shuttle. We stayed at the Sandals Regency/La Toc, it was nice and the food was great, it is the largest property with the most restaurants, however, you had to be up by 7am to get a chair on the beach or by the pool.  We took 3 day trips to the Sandals Grande and wish we had stayed there as chairs were easy to come by either on the beach (which was beautiful) or at the pool as late as 12:30.  This is also the newest property and it shows.  I would stay away from the Sandals Hacyon as it is a much much older crowd and not much goes on after dinner.  However, you can have dinner/drinks at any of the properties, just make sure you don’t miss the last shuttle at 11pm….we had a friend who did on her honeymoon and lived to regret it, basically you are stuck!

If you want a fun day out take the Joe Knows tour, the guys are too funny, it has good snorkeling, and they take you to the volcano.  It’s a fun day out on the water. They run the tour through Sandals, but you can book online with them and they will pick you up from any resort, If you go through Sandals, don’t book Joe Knows through the excursion desk, the Joe Knows guy is on the beach at the Regency/La Toc every day and we negotiated down from $118pp through Sandals to $90pp buy paying them directly.  Again, lots of fun!

Another group of friends are leaving this week for a 5 day trip to St. Lucia and are staying at a different resort, I will post an update for you when they get back.
