Hi girlygirl! im actually having a destination wedding and i first was looking at the bahamas..atlantis is way too expensive. Im having mine in St thomas at the frenchmans reef marriott.. i have to say its very reasonable. I was really concerned on where b/c of $$ that my guests would have to come up with to fly and stay.. but its not bad at all. the best bet if your set on the Bahamas is to look at different hotels they usually put on nice weddings. Hope this helps..

Hi ladies, i just got engaged and have been dreaming of a small beachside wedding in the bamahas. I seemed to find good and bad reviews for all the resorts in Nassau and on paradise island and atlantis is way too expensive. Has anyone done their wedding in the bahamas and can give any recommendations? I don't want to end up somewhere thats is less then perfect but also don't want to do something so expensive no one can come. we are thinking 20 or less guests. Any feedback is helpful, thanks!
