If you are comfortable in the rental house then stay there. What other people think is interesting but ultimately unimportant.

My FI and I are paying for a room in a 5-bedroom rental house that we're sharing with our wedding party the weekend of the wedding. I just assumed that I would stay in that room the night before (and that FI would stay with some of his guy friends,) and that we'd both stay there the night of the wedding. One of my BM's just told me that she doesn't think it's a wise idea to stay in the house, because we'll want to get away and have our privacy. I hadn't really thought twice about it before, and we're low on money so I'd rather not pay for a separate hotel room. We're also having a brunch at the wedding site the next morning at 10am, and the rental house is just a few houses away, so it's really convenience. And, a couple days later we're leaving for an eight-day honeymoon in Hawaii, so I figure we'll get tons of privacy there.
What do you bees think?
