My FI and I are getting married in Gilbert on 4/14/12. We are spending our honeymoon in Greer, AZ but we need a beautiful romantic place to stay for our first night here in the valley. Any suggestions?

We were gifted a room at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale for our wedding night. It's mid-century goodness - loved it!

@luvmyDwight: It was gorgeous & sunny all week (75-80's) EXCEPT for our wedding day. An unusual cold/stormy front came through causing the weather to drop 20 DEGREES BELOW AVERAGE - putting us at 55 degrees. 55 degrees in April in AZ is absolute madness! The big guy upstairs was looking out for us and the rain ceased as our outdoor ceremony began. The sun even peaked out during our vows - it was heavenly. So yeah, I was freezing! You should be good! =)

Arizona Grand Resort is nice. I've stayed there for a conference. Four Seasons at Troon North is beautiful and in a gorgeous location, but far out of town. Really any of the resorts that are not smack in the city or have a lot of land (golf course) should be nice. The Scottsdale resorts are probably where you want to look. I've heard The Phoenician and Scottsdale Princess are nice. April shouldn't be too bad.

We stayed the night @ the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale. You're lucky since we have SO many gorgeous choices in Phoenix & Scottsdale, just depends on location & I guess how much you want to spend.
