Have you thought about Valley Forge? They have those beautiful church buildings and such that you can utilize. I lived in the 'Ville for a year but I can't think of any places right now. If I do, I will let you know.
are you having it at the kimberton inn? I just looked there on sunday.
Have you checked out the Foundry? They have beautiful photo ops outside and around it. I'm a fan of photojournalistic style pictures and if you walked up the main street i'm sure you could get a ton of great candids!
I was going to suggest main street/foundry in Pheonixville as well, both have a really cute historical charm to it. Valley Forge park is also really nice, we did our Esession there and the pictures turned out beautiful! Just a word of caution though the park now charges a $75 fee and you have to fill out an application before hand. We didn't get bothered during our session but if your going to be arriving in a limo then the Troopers spot you easily. Have you also thought about Ursinus College campus in Collegevillw?
I know it's a little bit of a drive but my friend got pictures done at longwood gardens and they were amazing!
I'm not all that familiar with Phoenixville, but I know there is some awesome wall with maps painted on it downtown (I think??). Maybe someone else can give more insight as to where that is, but if you're going for an urban look, it would be awesome!
@cupcake
Phoenixville is in Chester county, which is the county to the left of Philadelphia county. It's about a 45 min drive from Phoenixville into the city (with no traffic). It's close by Collegeville, Downingtown
@Dani
What about parks nearby? What about Marsh Creek in Lionville. That's like 10-15 min away. It's that huge man made lake.
@yrret107 - I am familiar with where Phoenixville is, I have just never actually been there, but friends have had great photos taken there :) I thought maybe someone could specify the painted wall I mentioned, because I think it's a popular attraction there. Sorry if I was unclear!
@Cupcake, Oh, sorry. Yeah, I thought you didn't know where it was.
I did an engagement shoot recently in Phoenixville. The owners of the Colonial Theater were great about letting us have the space of the theater upstairs and in the theater to ourselves for a while when there weren't any shows. I think that would be a cool location! There's also the Steel City Coffeehouse, which has great murals on the side of the building and the map mural Cupcake mentioned is pretty fantastic ;)
Here's a link to the shoot for some Phoenixville lovin':
