Well I know that many, many people go to Stanford campus for photos. It's a bit out of the way, but not so much. The Rodin sculpture garden is one of my favorite places anywhere. But I suppose it depends on what type of setting you want. There are several parks in the East Bay as well, but they'd be more natural/less manicured which might come off as out of place for wedding photos.
My cousin got married last year and took some really nice pictures on the Santa Clara University campus. I would also try Hakone Gardens in Saratoga. As already mentioned, Standford University has a beautiful campus also. :)
A note on Santana Row. The property management there usually requires a permit to photograph there. Otherwise security crew might head your way and have a talk.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
Does anyone have any ideas of places to take photos. Our ceremony is in SJ and the reception is in Milpitas. We have some time for travel but not much so Santa Cruz and SF are out. I know the Japanese Garden & Rose Garden are nice and there are parks. Santana Row has some cool walls to pose in front of. I want ideas to give our photog.
Thanks
