I’m in the process of planning a vacation for next year with myself, my husband, and our son who will be just under 2 by then. We want to go in the spring for about a week. I don’t mind taking a short flight if necessary, and I currenly live in NC. Does anyone have suggestions on places to vacation with a toddler? Please share your reviews as well if you’ve been somewhere and loved it.

Pittsburgh, maybe? I don’t know if you want a city, but it has some awesome kid (and toddler)-friendly museums (science center, kids museum), an amusement park (with a kiddie park), a waterpark, a zoo and aquarium, some great outdoor parks, inclines, etc – and plenty of adult activities, too.
I grew up in NW PA and always loved visiting Pittsburgh (big location for elementary school fieldtrips in my area).

LadyBear: Thanks for the suggestion. A city could be fun to visit, although I live in a pretty big city myself. Atlanta is pretty close, so I was considering going there for a long weekend. I’ll keep Pittsburgh in mind too.

St. Louis has a bunch of stuff that is both kid and adult friendly. The City Museum is amazing!

My aunt and uncle brought their two year old with us to Myrtle Beach and he loved it! He got to hang out on the beach and we went put put golfing, go karting (they had lots of games and stuff that he played there), to the zoo.
