Have you ever used a honeymoon registry site before? Or is that tacky?
Me and my fiance love Vegas so we were thinking of just going there with some close friends. That is our ideal vacation, we dont really want to go anywhere alone. Anyone else bringing others with?

We are going to New Orleans, just the two of us. We have 2 free airline tickets and 3 free day stay at a Marriott, that FI won.

We are going to Disneyland for our Honeymoon on Christmas. We used the Disney Honeymoon Registry. I thought it was tack at first but so many of our guests loves it!!! We got to add different places to eat/ drink, attractions, shopping, hotel stays, gift baskets, ect to our registry and our guest got to pick what they wanted us to do.

Personally, I love the idea of a honeymoon registry. SO and I are having a DW/planned elopement so we’re not doing anything like that, but I’ve had a couple friends set up one and it was very well-received. A lot of people think it’s tacky, especially since there are pros and cons to the registry (the hosting company gets a percentage, questions about what the couple is actually using the money for, etc.) but honestly it depends on the dynamic of your guests. I’d rather contribute to a nice dinner or a snorkeling trip than give a generic gift!

We are also going to New Orleans. We’re driving down over two days (it’s only a 10 hr drive) so we can make stops along the way, staying at our B&B for three nights, and then driving back up the opposite way so we can sightsee in that direction. We’ve been trying to plan this trip for three years but other things always came up, so I’m very, VERY excited about our honeymoon.

We didn’t do a honeymoon registry but using some of our gift money to take a 3 night honeymoon at an all inclusive resort about 5 hours drive away from us. We live in a place where some of the most sought after vacation destinations are just a short drive away. 3 nights is good enough for us (we went to our favorite beach destination with my family when they were here a week after the wedding too).
