I’m having my wedding in Vegas and am trying to determine what is a good place to eat after the ceremony? This would be a destination wedding and I’m not really having a reception but would like to treat my guest to a nice lunch/dinner. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Top of the World revolving restaurant at the top of the Stratosphere tower!

omg!!! there is this place that is AMAZING!!! it is seriously still one of the best places i have ever eaten at, and we travel all over the world. it’s called “off the strip, just real food”…it’s rated number one on tripadvisor restaurants and they even have a shuttle to come get people bc it is off the strip and most tourists don’t like to drive. but it is so delicious!!! they cater too and if i had a wedding in vegas, hands down that would be the food i would choose. 🙂 look up the reviews…they definitely tell the truth. the food is to die for, and the prices are great. it’s family owned and they are so friendly, give free samples, shuttle customers back and forth, and advise you on other places to eat that they/their friends own. 🙂

It’s pricey but Tao is probably the best restaurant I’ve eaten at.

My favorite restaurant in Vegas is Olives. Its in Bellagio so you can watch the water show while eating. Mmmmmm, I want to go right now!

I had looked into Margaritaville right on the strip. I am a fan of incorporating the destination into a destination wedding so I would rather eat somewhere right in the middle of the action rather than a restaurant in a hotel. Not to say I don’t enjoy all restaurants in Vegas, just that for that particular occasion I think it would be neat to be in a restaurant that overlooks the strip and depending on the time of day you hold the dinner, you could watch the strip go from day to night.
There is also the Outback Steakhouse and the Hard Rock Cafe.

Delmonico’s at the venetian is fantastic. I also see at least one bride at the Bellagio Buffet everytime I go there.

I second Prime at the Bellagio. My Maid/Matron of Honor (and I was her MOH) had her reception on the patio at Prime overlooking the fountains and it was beautiful (they actually had to turn the fountains down, as they were getting us wet!).
Alize at the Palms is also nice. It’s off the strip, but on something like the 55th floor with an awesome view of the strip.
Other thoughts: Alex at the Wynn, the patio at Daniel Boulud at the Wynn.
