I'm having mine done at the salon as well because I don't know the fist thing about makeup application - the most i wear (even going out) is, umm, lip gloss?

I haven't booked a place yet, but while I was at the wedding show I got my hair done in an updo for free by Melissa at Ultimate Salon and Spa. They had a booth there and were doing quick updos for free with brides having local weddings. She was really frendly and gave me a great style even though I didn't have a clue what I wanted. I just told her something romantic and she did great!

They do charge a lot, though i haven't priced other places yet since I'm still so far out from the wedding. I believe it's $77 for a bridal updo.

@mrsawesome09 Melissa from Ultimate is who cuts my hair on a regular basis and she's doing my wedding hair, too! Ultimate Spa & Salon is expensive, but awesome, so if you have the money, then I think it's worth it. As far as makeup goes, my aunt is doing mine. I'm not a makeup minimalist, but I'm far from expert, too. I just want foundation that will stay on all night!
