Hi bees! I'm just curious as to where everyone's venue is. I'm currently living out-of-state and I guess I'm just homesick! :)
My venue was the beautiful Glen Ella Springs Inn up in North Georgia. It's so peaceful up there....sigh....I think I might have a little PWD brewing up now :)
My venue is The Higdon House Inn & Gardens in Greensboro (Lake Oconee).
SOOOO excited! I'm glad there are some other Georgia girls on here!

We just booked our venue a few weeks ago. It's going to be at the Piedmont Room at Park Tavern! So excited!!! 
Oh, I love the Piedmont Room! Yay! All you ladies have chosen such nice places!

My first choice was actually in front of the fountain in Forsyth Park (Savannah), but we decided against a destination wedding since a lot of our friends and family would have trouble with the costs and time off to travel.
Cator Woolford Gardens in Atlanta, for both the ceremony and the reception. Since it's a public place (closed during events), I've stopped by there several times and I get more and more excited each time!
I'm in the Garden Tent at Park Tavern.
I also looked at Cator Woolford - I loved it, but my FI was a little rain-shy and wasn't comfortable with the backup.
I'd never been to Cator Woolford but our photographer just posted some pics from a wedding he shot recently there and it looks beautiful!
Sorry ladies! I just realized I hadn't yet shared mine. I'm getting married at the Inn at Serenbe. We found it on a whim, and it's more than I could've ever hoped for!

ggsb, I'll be sure to! We were originally looking at Calloway Gardens, but our city magazine came out with a wedding issue highlighting Serenbe. As soon as I went, I knew it was the place!

This is the part we can't wait for and it's gonna be fun in a few months when we decide finally how, where and the details ya know?
We are going to be a wildcard.
I got married at the Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in downtown Atlanta and our reception was held at the Silverbell Pavilion at the Emory Conference Center Hotel.
Our rehearsal dinner was at Parker's on Ponce, and their food was awesome.
My bridesmaid's luncheon was held at Violette's off of 85 and Clairmont. They have the best french food in the city and the ambiance was perfect for us.
I had a very traditional bridal shower at the Swan Coach House and it was LOVELY! Excellent food and service and just a beautiful property.
I'm getting married at Little Gardens in Lawrenceville -- it's owned by the same company as Flint Hill where Smokipenelope is having her wedding. I'm so excited! We got a great deal on the site, the coordinator is amazing and they take care of so much for you -- a wonderful relief when planning a wedding from out of town!
Little Gardens is beautiful!!! And Magic Moments seems amazing at what they do, I love how much is included! I'm two weeks away from the tasting event at Flint Hill and am literally counting down the days, I can't wait. :)

We're hoping to book the Smith-Gilbert Gardens in Kennesaw. They're just going public, and are gorgeous!
Im getting married at Great Waters Clubhouse on Lake Oconee!!! :-) We are having our ceremony at a marina right on the lake!
I *think* we'll be at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History. We haven't had the offiical tour with the events coordinator yet though. Have any of you been to a wedding at the Fernbank? Any thoughts? :)
Hey girls... does anyone had any feedback about the tent at the Piedmont Room? We have to change the date up a week to accomodate the photogs we love.. and now the room is unavailable and its only the tent.
We're still looking at the Biltmore, Chateau Elan, Both 12s, and The Mansion @ Peachtree.. any feedback on those.

As for me, I am not marrying in Atlanta.
We're doing a destination wedding in Florida! We've chosen to marry at the 1st United Methodist Church in Pensacola where T was Christened and where his parents married and then having a waterfront/beachside reception after!
For rehersal dinner, we're doing a beach bbq!
I hope you don't mind me asking, to the brides that were having their weddings @ Cator Woolford Gardens, what are their fees? I'm considering this place, but have seen mixed reviews on weddingwire.
I'm getting married at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Stevensville, MD! I'm so excited its such a beautiful venue!
If anyone else is having there wedding there I would love to talk with you about it and share ideas so def. let me know!
@YSQueen I'm getting married there this fall. Saturday nights are 4k, less for daytime/Friday/Sunday. Have you gone to visit? I suggest emailing them. The coordinator there has been really nice and helpful so far. Good luck! :)
Thanks for the feedback, aplusb! That's great to hear. I have no idea what to do with lighting/flowers/decorations! (Oohhh, I used to live in DC -- I miss it!)
The Payne Corely house is super cute! One of my friends got married there last year.
We're getting married at Peachtree Christian Church and our reception is at the Biltmore in the bigger ballroom, I think it's called the Georgian.
I am so in love with our venues! To fabulousity, I definitely reccommend The Biltmore and if you haven't done a walk-through, you need to! The few pictures online don't do it justice!
We're getting married at Piedmont Park. Our ceremony will be on the Lake Clara Meer dock with our reception at Greystone.
