I’m going to diy my alter decor, and have narrowed the choices down to two.I’d like to get started this month and be done with it by December. (Wishful Thinking, right?)
And this one:
I like the bamboo arch with the hanging crystals, I have 3 different tutorials on how to assemble one, and I think it would look great in my venue.
However, I like the tables with the crystal trees, and I think they would be easier to assemble and much more portable to and from the venue. Also, I’m seriously considering buying petal taffeda to make banquet tablecloths, and I could use that fabric to cover the tables holding the crystal trees, further tying in the petal/flower theme

I am in love with the first one. O_O
Make the first one, yes, yes!

Touch choice, I love both. If I had to pick, I’d go with #1. Good luck! You’re way more brave then me. I’d get stressed out just thinking about making it myself.

@MissFireFlower: The second one is just too busy for me. If you were to use the idea I would have just the flower, branch and crystal arrangements on the tables and perhaps some aisle decor further back.
The vases on the floor and further back by the fireplace take away the focus.
Unless your tablecloths are a bright color , the altar area may get a bit lost in a garden setting.

I don’t like the tables… too dark and dreary and well I just don’t like them
I do like the first one! Airy and colorful

I feel like #2 would be better able to showcase your venue and yourselves!

You didn’t say where you were holding the ceremony. Inside or out? Or what is the theme of your day. They are both beautiful!!
