Nevermind the fact that everyone and their mother has the Celine Luggage or Phantom. I think it’s to the 2010’s what the Fendi spy bag was to the early 2000s.

They’re both classic but I love the Fendi. I wouldn’t get that light of a color though. You’ll want to keep it for a long time and lighter colors show more wear. I’ve also noticed that my darker jeans rub off on my tan bags. You don’t want that to happen to your Fendi!

Fendi. I’m not particularly drawn to either brand, so based solely on looks its the Fendi for sure.

@lcutter711:  My goodness the silhouette of that Fendi is amazing, but the red color of the Celine in the first photo you posted defnitely has my heart–so basically I can’t make up my mind! I think they’re both beautiful bags and you should go with the one you think you’ll get more use of.

@AlwaysSunny:  Yep, it’s true. I wear dark jeans all the time, and this seems to be quite common. I think it’s all dependent on the type of dye used.

Speaking of dark blues, OP should get a navy bag. Navy is such a rich, gorgeous, classic color.

@lcutter711:  So I went on Nordstrom’s website to look at this bag (wanted to see it in other colors), and the color of the Fendi 2Jours Elite in Make Up impressed me less than it did in the pictures you posted here. It just looks less nude to almost pinkish and airy and more beige in the photo. I haven’t seen this bag in person, so I’m not sure which photo is more true to life, but if it’s this picture that I just saw then I personally don’t like this color. Still love the silhouette–it’s perfection.

@lcutter711:  I’m a Celine girl, however I think the 2Jours is such a beautiful design – the shape is very ladylike yet modern, and very practical too. I personally find the Luggage tote overdone, plus it’s quite heavy. If you were going towards Celine I’d probably get a Trapeze rather than the Luggage, to be honest.

For a similar style to the 2Jours, I also love Prada’s Saffiano Lux tote. It’s elegant, hardwearing (the leather is practically indestructible) and can be dressed down really easily.

@peonyinparis:  I have the Prada Saffiano Luxe Double Zip and it’s an amazing bag. It’s quite light when empty, which I find is rare for nice leather bags. I borrowed my mom’a Celine phantom over the summer and it was very heavy.

I have the second largest Saffiano tote (with should strap), which looks to be the same size as the Fendi OP posted. Depending on the OP’s needs, the Fendi is such a strikingly modern bag, while I find the Prada, while classic, is overdone. I use it for work only, but wouldn’t take it to dinner. That Fendi I’d take everywhere but work!

That Fendi bag is gorgeous. I love everything about it, size, shape, color. The Celine bag is beautiful too but it’s too “done.” It’s just too popular for my taste. Still a beautiful bag but in a few seasons it will be like the Muarkami LV bags.  Just my opinion.though

ETA: I’m late to the party and just saw you’re going with the Fendi.  Enjoy it!  It’s stunning!

Late to the post but I must agree on the Fendi! My BFF has the Celine and it doesn’t quite “wow” Me.
