I will also add that I wouldn't drink Coke/Pepsi but I drink almost any other kind of soda so I didn't choose the Coke/Diet Coke options.
I'm kinda not a fan of bottled water in the OOT bags. I just never end up drinking it? Hot cocoa is kinda cute, but a lot of hotels already have it stocked in the room.
I checked all kinds of different beverages, because we're thirsty folks and we drink a lot, but when it comes to OOT bags, I think that bottled water is the best way to go. Everyone needs water, and we usually don't drink enough of it when we're traveling. No point in spending a bunch of money on beverages people might not like, although it might be neat to include juice boxes or capri sun in the bags for people that have kids.
Is there a local vineyard that does a nice wine or sparkling wine? If so, that would e nice to include (but would of course increase the cost, and might be tricky for people to fly back with) We are doing one of our favorite New Mexico sparkling wines in the OOT bags of those people who are staying a few days and will have time to enjoy it, but not in the bags of our New Mexico friends who will end up being in town for less than 48 hours and won't be able to enjoy the wine while they are there.
@nmsoonerbride:hmmm...i will have to check into that. i don't know if any of them come in mini bottles. there are some good local wines though.
I voted for bottled water and root beer - classics!
I would only drink the regular water and maybe the hot coco too depending on where it was. If we were somewhere hot prob no hot coco drinking for me.
FH would drink soda or plain water.
Bottled water. I'd drink some of the other things, but I think you'd get more bang for your buck if you just included water.
@RayRayFurious: a lot of people are saying that...but water is free~ lol. i guess no one drinks tap water anymore...
I'm a fan of two bottled waters and a diet coke plus a regular coke. Those are the things that I immediately want after getting off a plane or after a long trip. And tap water, despite being drinkable, isn't quite as tasty and refreshing as the bottled stuff (particularly if you're not used to the area's water -- i.e. chicago's lake tap water is very different from virginia's tap water).

OK. I thought I was done, but this is too much fun and there are too many good options. Here goes...
Which beverages would you, (plus your spouse/date, and children) drink if they were in an out-of-town bag you recieved when you checked into your hotel for someone else's wedding?
