Okay, this was a tough one... had to look many times! I voted #1... just seemed the most natural to me? The blue is very pretty, doesn't seem overbearing - so it looked good to have more of them, liked the flow of the pearls inbetween (Picture #1).
@RR: Thanks for the vote. They're actually all purple. The blue looking ones are dark and the pearl looking ones are lavender. The dress is about the same shade as the darker bead.
I prefer the first one with just the large dark. I think the second pattern is cool too - but with the colour and the dress the first one looks better.
I'm assuming you're making them? Good for you! I love beading...
@PrairieGirl: I am making them, thanks. This is the first beading project I've done since Kindergarten-style necklaces. I'm just hoping it works out well :)
@Sady Jane: I could see the purple - some of the pictures comes across as blue. It's a beautiful color. Have you considered possible tossing in some clear ones? That's always pretty too. Not to make more choices for you! :) Great idea to make them.
is that the actual dress? if so, i think the first necklace competes with the beading on the dress, so i like the lighter necklace.
@kitzy: That is the acutal dress...it's obviously not mine so it's not the right fit in there, but I figured I'd show them together at least. Thanks for your vote!
When I couldn't see the dresses I liked number two better. Once I saw it with the dress- I liked the first better. Voted for #1.
I really started off liking the the first one up close, but further back the second necklace looks much better. I think the second one really gives a nice contrast with the dress. which I love. So the second one really gets my vote!
