Which bolero do you think goes best with this dress? The idea is to have something for the outdoor dinner at night when it gets a bit chillier.
Please feel free to suggest other alternatives…

honestly, I think they are a little busy for the dress although I am completely in love with the last one.
what about something like this?

I agree with PP, I think you really need something a little bit simpler since the skirt of your gown is so gorgeous and dramatic!

@GroovyHippieChick: this is exactly what I was thinking.

first one! BUT OMG your dress is insanely gorgeous. WOW!!

I went with #2. The third one, I personally think would be too much for the dress. Your dress is so light (beautiful btw!) and that type of knit seems too heavy and I think it clashes with your dress.
#1 isn’t bad but I still think it runs the risk of not matching. #2 is light and airy just like your dress!

I think #1 goes with the whimsy of your gown
How are any of these going to keep you warm?
@LGenz: I agree, I can’t see any of these helping keep you warm, MAYBE the third but I think it would look terrible
Post # 11
@LGenz: They won’t really keep me warm, but they will keep me warmer, which should be enough since there should only be a small temp difference (but I’d be cold with bare arms)
Hmmm so given the previous posts I guess #3 doesn’t work with this dress…I was already afraid of that, I just love that shrug so much. I guess #1 or #2 could work if they match? Or are they also too much?

I agree with PPs, your dress is BEAUTIFUL and I think a plainer bolero would complement it much better.
IMO these three boleros, although beautiful, would better match a plainer dress. You should add an “other” option just to see if more people feel the same way.

I’m not quite sure any of these will accomplish your goal of being less chilly at night since most of them have giant holes or are a thin, see-through fabric.

I’m not usually a fan of the cardigan with wedding dress thing, but as soon as I saw your dress, that’s the first thing that popped into my head, instead of a bolero.
