i voted babys breathe. i think it would be so pretty and elegent and not to mention uber cost effective! i saw a bunch at the grocery store and they were like $2 a bundle!!
I picked the last option, but I want to say it should be bigger as well.
BTW what did you use to get the bouquet handles so thick? I know those are not just the stems of the flowers.
@2ndtime: I wrapped all the stems in floral tape together and then wrapped them with paper towel to thicken them up and then covered it with more floral tape and the burlap lol!
I wanted to put bigger in the last poll, but there wasn't enough space. No matter what I am going to make my bouquet bigger. :)
These are so cute! I think you should do white flowers with the burlap stem and then either white ribbon or red ribbon, in the same style as your bm's.
I vote all white flowers. I don't usually like the way white looks mixed in with bright colors in bouquets. So if not all white then I'd do a bigger version of the BM bouquet. Though I think you could do either white or colorful ribbon.
What are the things at the top? ribbon wands or something?
Those look AMAZING! I think primarily white flowers with little pops of color would look great next to all of these, and I definitely think your bouquet should be bigger than the bridesmaids'. Awesome job!
@kala_way: Yes they're ribbon wands! It's hard to see, but they have yellow, blue red and white ribbon mixed in.
@pinkpaperbride: Thanks! :) Yeah, no matter which option I go with my bouquet will be bigger!
I think baby's breath would look lovely with everything you've put together!
Geez the votes are pretty close, lol! This is not making it much easier for me to decide :P
@2ndtime: Amazing what can be done with regular house hold items! XD yep, worked like a charm!
It's a wedding, not a fair, and I'd go with something softer (ease up on the primary colors) and more monochromatic for the bride!
@JoeBeth12: I actually feel just the opposite :) the more color, the more fair feeling the better! :) I'm leaving monochromatic for when I'm old in the nursing home lol :)
@sfchick: Thanks! I think the bright colors are going to look amazing contrasted by the brown and cream of our wedding party as well as the prominent dark brown color of our venue:

I don't think wedding colors need to be pastel :P
@DeathByDesign: i can send you photos of my reception if you send me a private message. My photographer wants to submit it for publishing so I can't post photos. I'm all about color! :) Love your venue, love your theme! :)
@DeathByDesign: I voted for baby's breath.
@JoeBeth12: Ouch.... not every bride likes being boring. Myself included.
Okay, okay! Oops on the comment about too much color. Must have been having a bland day or something. to the OP - I think your venue is GORGEOUS and I agree with most of the PPs that the pop of color will be beautiful. If any of you care to see what I did - to love it or hate it - it too was pretty unusual with hundreds of cobalt blue vintage bottles of all sizes and shapes filled with various wildflowers mostly blues on starched white tablecloths and hand painted Mexican talavera table numbers leaning against blue glass water bottles and 500 votive candles ... in an urban white loft & outdoor terrace in Manhattan. There was nothing bridal-cliche about it! No clue how to post pix like ya'all, but my tables and such are on some ads I posted about a year ago under my name.

Over the weekend I finished making all the flowers for the wedding party, here is a picture:
Now what should I do for my own bouquet?
I was thinking either making a bigger bouquet like the bridesmaids' but with white flowers and ribbon, but I have some other ideas too!
Please vote on which you think would be nicest! :)
