Unfortunately one of my Bridesmaids is only in town for another 1.5 weeks, so I’m trying to figure out which dress before she leaves. Right now I have 4 primary contenders – which do you like the best?
My wedding = Relatively formal. Church ceremony followed by a reception at a Mountain venue. It will be in May, but the weather here is mild, and it will likely be somewhat cool (especially on the mountain!). They will be a bright-ish pink (fuschia or azalea). I (almost) definitely want strapless, long and satin
For reference, here is the sample of my dress:
DRESS #1: Mori Lee 1
(Note the ‘Pink” version is just the website painting the photo to give an idea)
Dress #2: Mori Lee 2
(Note the ‘Pink” version is just the website painting the photo to give an idea – I don’t think it will be quite so dark!)
Dress #3: David’s Bridal 1
(Second pic is my sister/MOH in the dress)
Dress #4: David’s Bridal 2
(Second photo is my sister/MOH in the dress)

I vote #1. I’m not really a fan of the other ones. But it all depends on which ones you and your girls prefer. I can tell you that #4 will not look good on girls who are hippy so that may be something to consider.

Yeah I’m already narrowing it down further as I think about it more and thinking Dress #1 or Dress #3. I’m going to get my sister to try on dress #1 later in the week, so that will hopefully help!

i like DB#1! It looks flattering on your sis and compliments your dress really well! Mori Lee #1 would probably be my second choice.

i voted for DB#2. i love this dress, if it weren’t for my budget, i would have gotten that for my bridesmaids (i’m paying for their dresses).

#1, it matches your dress way better than the others.
Oh, you have Mae!!! I wanted to try that dress on SO bad, but no one around me had it.

Thanks Zippylef! I went into the bridal store knowing each PIECE of the dress I wanted, and than spotted Mae on the shelf, which fit my imaged image perfectly!
Personally, i’m leaning towards #1 for the dresses I THINK but its hard to know without seeing it on! I really like how #1 has the sweetheart neckline which sort of mirrors the ‘notch’ neckline my dress has. I wasn’t with my sister when she tried on the DB dresses, so I need to chat with her and see what she thought about the ones she tried on today.

1, 2 and 3 are lovely, the last dress is not really v flattering.

I voted for three – it looks great on your sister and I like how the dress is fitted but not as fitted as dress number one – I wouldn’t like how snug it would be through the thigh area…
p.s. I love your gown! So pretty!

It totally depends on the shape of your bridesmaids. If they’re short, the dropped waist dresses will make them look legless. I’m 5’1″ and I tried on a few gowns similar to the Mori Lee #1 – they looked awful on me. It made me look like my torso was 3 feet and my legs were a stubby 2 feet long.

I like number four, or DB’s #2 the best!

Dress #1! I love Mori Lee

I would say DB #1, then Mori Lee #1 as second

The Mori Lee #1 is very elegant and should be the most flattering for all body types. Love the color!

i like dress number 1and the last one
