I like the grey the best.

I do not care for the pink dress (and if they hate it, I think it’s kinda crappy to make them spend their money on it).  The blue is ok.  I’m just not that crazy about a one shoulder.  The 4th dress I can’t really see, but if it’s going to be too expensive I don’t think it’s worth it.

@llamadrama:  Is the belt on the gray dress optional? Could you put it with the blue dress? Or could you make a sprap (whatever style you want) on the gray dress? Maybe with extra material? If I had to pick one as is, I would go with the gray one. It seems like a good compromise for what you want. Some detail and good price for bms.

I love the one shoulder, not too plain at all, and will look beautiful in purple 🙂

Honestly, I’d get the one that all the girls like the best. I don’t think there has to be anything about it that makes it “wow” – that’s what your dress is about. That dress, however, is very beautiful and elegant and flattering. Your girls will look great in it and that’s the wow factor that’s enough. I like the pink one, but it looks unflattering and if they hate it, I wouldn’t get it. I don’t really like the grey one, it makes the BM look very boxy and the blue one looks better. Go with the blue.

The grey one: Makes her look boxy, unflattering and next to your dress they aren’t going to “stand out”. I would also think thats an awful lot of strapless.

First pink dress: Firstly its really unflattering, and secondly they don’t like it, don’t make them buy it! If you were paying I would say do whatever, but you really can’t ask them to pay for a dress they hate (Ive had to do that before and it SUCKS.)

Second pink dress: Hard to see fit-wise, but I personall dont like anything but the strap. The body looks incredibly plain. Also if its too expensive, its too expensive. Do you want to make your girls pay out for a dress they don’t even like as much as another, cheaper option?

The blue one though, I love it. Its flattering, flowy and they will stand out in their own right because the dress is nothing like yours!

@llamadrama:  I like the grey the best. I also don’t like the look of one shoulders, so that’s why I don’t like the blue one.

@llamadrama:  i love the color of the blue but the way the strap is it looks like it was an after thought. the grey is awesome, as long as your girls arent to busty, then they need straps.

I usually dislike one shoulder dresses, but that one is very pretty.  I don’t think it is any more plain than the others.  I do think it is a much more universally flattering dress than the dress one.  Because both dresses do have the same neckline you could do both if they came in the same color

@llamadrama:  I think you should go with the blue, since it’s your maids’ favourite and it flatters everyone. You should listen to your BMs – they’re the ones who have to buy and wear the dresses. If you think the dress needs a little something then why not add some sashes like the one on the grey dress? There are tons of options on Etsy that will add a little sparkle.

Why don’t you let them choose their own dress, but have them all in the same color. That way they could wear something they felt comfortable in rather than spending all that money on a dress they don’t really like. I’ve been in a wedding wear we picked out our own dresses in the same color and everyone loved it.

I would just get the dress that everyone likes!  I son’t think it is too plain and you can always add accessories.  I know you like the pink one with flowers, but I don’t think it’s very flattering at.all. and your friend is in great shape!

I love the style of the belted, grey dress, and I would choose that one.  However, my second favorite is the first (one-shouldered) dress shown in navy blue. Both dresses are beautiful.

The primary reason I would choose the style shown in gray over the style shown in blue is that I think the one-shoulder style is so trendy right and that will cause it to be more dated in a few years.
