Kate Spade is having a sale! It seems like a good time to start investing in BM gifts, even though my wedding is so far away. None of these are to be worn at the wedding (unless my BMs want to, of course!) so I’m just trying to figure out a nice gift.
For our wedding colors, we are sticking to a fairly neutral palette of ivories, whites, champagnes, blush pinks, etc. It might be cute to give jewelry in that palette just for the sake of sentimentality!
The first is a clutch that they could use on the day if they want. Note that it’s about the size of an iPad. I could also fill it with goodies like nail polish!
The second is just a cute idiom bracelet
The third are earrings that I could get in all of their favorite colors
The fourth is another cute idiom bracelet
As a BM, which of these might you like?!

I say the bag. I’m actually doing Kate Spade gifts too. I got them these bags, and I’m filling them with nail polish, make up and the Kate Spade bridesmaid bangles. The reason I didn’t vote for the bracelets on yours is because the idioms are kind of random and what if they don’t like that particular idiom?

kimmo416: Cute idea! And good point about the idioms. I just picked them because they sort of went with our color scheme and pretty neutral so I thought it would be a cute way to remember the wedding and they would be genarally likeable because of their neutrality! Maybe I should look at something different, though.

crackktheskyy: I love the bag, it is gorgeous and would be great for nights out. I would absolutely love getting one of those rather than earrings or a bracelet that I may never wear (even though they are cute too!)
P.S. I love your icon picture 🙂 So cute!

I love the bag, and almost did that one myself.
I went with the Kate Spade “Anchors Away” necklace which I got on Piperlime on sale with a 25% off coupon, each necklace was about $12!! They came in a cute Kate Spade drawstring bag too. I’m giving them a card that says “Thanks for being my anchor” along with the necklaces and an assortment of a few other gifts too.

MagnoliaBlossom: Thanks for the advice! My only concern is with the size of the bag…you can fit an iPad in it! Hopefully it’s still cute for a night out 🙂 Hopefully all of my girls also like sparkly pink! lol. And thanks 🙂 I love hedgehogs!
Ms_Purple: This is the cutest idea EVER! Also, I’ve never heard of Piperlime but I will have to check it out! What a great steal!

crackktheskyy: Thanks!! Piperlime is affiliated with the Gap, Old Navy, Athleta and Banana Republic. All their store pages have tabs to all the other stores. They’re great for shoes and accessories!
As for the bag size, I like having a bit more room in a bag! Maybe some girls would use theirs for an iPad or Kindle sometimes…I know I would! LOL. But I would also use it for a night out too.

I love the square studs, personally (um, I have four pairs. and I know I’m getting a pair for my birthday Sunday). BUT, they’re REALLY showy/loud and BIG – definitely not everyone’s style. If you’re getting everyone the same thing then I’d go for a bangle. That’s pretty classic and goes with any style – preppy, boho, sporty.
<br />I did Kate Spade stuff as part of my BM gifts – I got my MOH the sailor knot earrings (she’s super into nautical stuff) and I’ll probably get her the MOH bangle as well, my BM who is green/gaudy obsessed some of the studs that have pave crystals on the edge and a green stone in the middle, and my simple hipster friend the “one in a million” necklace. I bought all their gifts during after Christmas or Black Friday sales for our June wedding – super early, but when you get a deal, you snag it!

crackktheskyy: ALL OF THEM! Oh wait, that’s not an option. Darn. They are all good choices!! I got all my girls black Coach clutches since, as a whole, they’re not big jewelry wearers. But you know your girls best. 🙂

I like the “Heart of Gold” idiom bracelet. Who wouldn’t want to be thought of as having a heart of gold?

Ms_Purple: Oh, I’m with you there! I carry around my LIFE in my bag. Clutches…what are clutches?
StL.Ashley: Good to know that they are so big! I thought they might be a little smaller. And your BM gifts are so thoughtful and cute. Love it! And I totally hear you on getting a good sale when it comes around….especially on Kate Spade!
Soon2BeMrsS: Oh cute! I love Coach! I guess my problem is that I have 6 BMs and they all like such different things but I’m worried that if I get them all different things, I might misjudge and one girl might be jealous of another! So stressful, lol.
JrzyGurl: Thanks! I thought it was darling!
SnobBee: I love that one! It was originally on my list, but I don’t know that my girls would wear a lot of gold 🙁
