FI and I are going to New York to see his favorite band, Phish, at Madison Square Garden every night the 28th-29th, and we’d love to be able to see a matinee on either the 28th or 29th. I think we’d prefer to buy the tickets in advance rather than do the TKTS booth, and spend less than $100 per ticket, but not have terrible seats.
So, anyone have any advice on how to go about it, and/or what to see?
We’d rather not see one of the shows we’ve already seen in LA, or Once, which is coming to LA soon. We’ve seen Wicked, Book of Mormon, and Lion King. We’re open to plays as well as musicals, and off-Broadway.

check out broadwaybox.com.
tkts is fine to go to. you can try going to the box office of the show you want to see for any last minute tickets.
Kinky Boots, though you probably won’t be able to get tickets
Avenue Q -off broadway
are all great shows.

Crap, I was going to say Wicked or The Lion King but since you’ve already seen those…..
my sister said Avenue Q was hilarious.
