Whitch bustle would you go with, the american (pinned at behind) or french (poofier)?

I like the French on this dress. I can't really tell that it's bustled on the first one.
usually I'm a big fan of French bustles, but in this case I think the American works much better with your dress.
I think I have two different bustles. My mom, the seamstress and cousin were back there for a while.
My dress has an overlay with beading and that's pinned at the behind to display the beading, but the underlay is french bustled.
I definitely like American for yours.
I too usually like French but this dress definitely looks better with the American
I think American for sure! It's funny because you can't even tell it's bustled, it looks great! What dress do you have?
I'm usually a fan of the french but for your dress I really like the american.
I'm with most everyone else: I like French bustles, but on this dress I'm a fan of the American.
I agree with everyone else. I love the french, but on this dress I think the american suits it so much better.
I like the first one! Like Neele said you can't tell its bustled, its looks like it was made that way! By the way, LOVE how the back of your dress is kind of scrunched, looks beautiful!
French is my favorite, but on your dress i am loving the american...
Neele, I'm really not sure what it is, I asked the girls at the Bridal Shop since it didn't have a tag and they said it was a Robyn Jillian
From the pictures your dress looks exactly like my dress, mines a mori lee. Is this your dress?
stowersk - i'm pretty sure that is exactly the same! thanks for posting b/c I haven't been able to find it on the Jillian site (obviously). what color is yours in?
mine is diamond white. it is mori lee blu style number 4501 if you would like to find it on the website.
I am always a fan of the french, but for this dress, TOTALLY american!!!! Looks so much more flattering.
thanks, i will definetly look it up. the one in the picture is actually a diamond white as well, must just be diff lighting. I actually ordered an ivory (w/o seeing it!) just cause I wanted something a little darker and they didnt' have any in the store, so i've been dying to see what their ivory looks like!
how are you going to bustle yours? and what shoes/jewelry are you going to wear?
I am doing the american bustle. i havent picked my shoes yet but my necklace is just a simple strand with pearls and diamonds on it. I didnt want to get a real fancy necklace because i think it would be too much with the diamond pin thing.
The American looks great. Like someone said before, your dress doesn't even look bustled.
Without a doubt the French! The American is too ordinary and standard. Looks like a plain dress. The French ads a nice curvature to your legs which will flatter your back.
I know I am preaching to the choir, but AMERICAN all the way!
The American is more flattering... doesn't even look like it's bustled!
