We are having dessert so cake is just for the cutting of so only ONE teir
Cake #1 with no flowers
If this helps my cake topper are these birdies

2 fits your theme the best, but my favorite is 1 without the weird folded fondant.

I like cake 3 because it looks like actual food 😛 I’m not helpful, I know.

Overall, I like cake #1 as is. However, with your cake toppers, I prefer cake #2. I think the shape and the less floral decor on the bottom layers emphasized the topper better. I’m not a fan of cake #3. It’s rather plain.

I like 2 and 3. But you really can’t go wrong with any of them.

I think for only one tier, cake 2 will look the best!

Does it change anyone mind when the dessert that is being served is our cupcakes?
@Pokemon: Yes my mind is changed, now I would like a cupcake and a slice of each of the other three cakes. Thanks for asking 😉
I chose cake #2 but I think they all look lovely, you can’t go wrong.

peronally if it’s only 1 tier I would pick the top one because it’s fancy, sweet, and chic–not the mention the flowers will look beautful. I would pick that over something more rustic seeing that the barn is rustic and doesn’t need to be over done.

@Pokemon: I like cake #2 the best. However, you mentioned that the cake is only for cutting. So none of your guests will have the opportunity to have a piece of your cake? If this is the case, then I would not have a cake, since many guests may wonder why they never received cake. Instead, I would consider having your baker create a very large cupcake for you and your Darling Husband to cut.

@Brielle: Have a one teir cake for cutting is quite a common thing when serving cupcakes or an alternative dessert in weddings around my area. I did think of the larger cupcake but it looks too 1st birthday cakesmash and tacky.
