Why not have your FI’s favorite for the wedding cake.  Are you guys doing the traditional “stuff it in each other’s mouth” ceremony?

We just had our cake tasting a few weeks ago – it sure can be overwhelming.

Did you taste the different flavors in order to come up with your favorites?  I ask because we were dead set that we wanted chocolate with peanut butter filling until we tasted it – way too heavy.  If you can get a taste testing, it sure makes it easier.

Something else we’re doing that I wouldn’t have thought of.  For the biggest tier, our baker recommended white cake on the bottom, then the filling and chocolate cake on the top.  That way, people who want to try both cake flavors can do so with one piece of cake.

Are these all the same price? They all sound good

Classic white + Italian meringue butter cream + Dulche de leche sounds amazing!! But I think you and FI’s favorites should be the cake, and then get a sheet of the white for non-chocoholics.
