Neither one looks earthy to me. But I voted for the second one because it looks more comfortable for curling up with a book.
Yea the chair itself wont be earthy. I just wanted something really different with the green accent
LOVE them both! i couldn't choose... but i agree that the second may be better for actually relaxing in? just need a little ottoman. i want them!
I'm not personally a fan of the first one. I think the second definitely looks more like a bedroom piece, though.
#2 for sure! #1 looks more like it would go in a formal sitting room
The second one looks more practical, but I think the first one is much cooler and unique. So I say get both and use chair 2 in the bedroom and find another place for chair 1. :)

DH and I bedroom has a very earthy, natural feel to it. Lots of dark brown, bronze\gold and green accents.
I have one bare corner in our room and have been searching for the perfect chair to go there. I want something kinda eclectic, out of the norm. I love antiques, and textured patterns etc.
I found these 2 amazing chairs on CL but im not sure which one I like best! The corner is really big, so the bigger chair wouldnt "swallow" the room up.
