We can’t decide which china pattern we like better: Wegwood Oberon or Wedgwood India. What do you think? Do you see any drawbacks or advantages for picking one over the other? Oberon is the first pic, India is the second.

@EleanorRigby: Oberon is my pattern so I am a bit partial to it 🙂 I love it!

I love the first one. The second one looks a little…retro…to me. Not bad retro, just kind of old 🙂

I actually LOVE the look of the second one

the second is way too busy for my taste.

I’m a fan of the Oberon.
I would say that it comes out ahead because of all the white. You have the gorgeous patterned accent plates and cups and saucers, but the main pieces are white. I think that you’re less likely to get tired of it that way and you COULD pull out one of the colours from the pattern and mix in some solid accent plates one day if you get tired of it.
It’s one of my favourite patterns too. 🙂

@Linz1231: It’s funny that you say that, because the first one looks more retro to me. Delicate floral china like that reminds me of something my grandmother would have served tea with. 🙂 I like the stronger, darker pattern of the Inda, personally.

Thanks! It’s so tough to decide. I think the India might look a bit better in person than in the pic. The India is more fun, the Oberon is more elegant. Both are a little different, which we like.

not a fan of the color scheme on the 2nd. the first looks more elegant to me

I picked oberon, it has more white space which I like, and the pattern looks more delicate.

I picked Oberon
I love all this registry stuff! It’s so much fun picking out what we’ll have in our future home. I’m using MyRegistry.com so I love seeing everything I’m picking in one list. It’s so fun to stroll through and see all the goodies that will eventually be ours (so I hope!).

@deliciousappleblue: Haha, I could see that too! I like the dainty stuff though, so maybe that is more what I meant.
