I know this wasn't an option but I'd use red lanterns to break up the white and black and enhance where she is using the small amounts of red
I completely agree! I think red lanterns would look fabulous! If not, then I would go with the black to offset the white of the tulle...otherwise the white of the lantern and the white of the tulle might blend in together a little too much. Good luck with the decorating! :)
http://www.paperlanternstore.com/ is your best bet with paper lanterns... i think red will look so great ... but i choose red because black white and red are my colors
OK, so I just ordered 3 red lanterns from www.paperlanternstore.com to see if any of the reds will match my daughters red in the wedding. I think red is one of those colors that is hard to match if it isn't seen in person. So I'm excitedly awaiting my delivery...WOO-HOO !!!

Our daughter is having a black/white wedding with a touch of red. I'm draping the center of the ceiling in white tulle and thinking about hanging chinese lanterns on each side of the tulle above the guests tables which have black chairs, and white table cloths w/ a black runner on top. Which would look better...all white lanterns or both black and white? Also do any of you know where to get quality lanterns at a reasonable price? Thanks
