Those are both lovely. It is difficult to choose. I think I prefer the second. They’ll always be able to find the information from when they were born, something I often wonder about myself. May I ask where you found these?

I agree, I think they are both cute but I love the second one!

preference for the first one! second one is also pretty, but i think it’d be weird to have my birth details on the tree every year… that could just be because i didn’t though; obviously it would be “normal” to your kids.

i’ve personally never really cared about those details, but if you want your kids to have access to them, you can always do what my mom did and put the cue card the hospital gives you (or make your own) in your 1st baby album. she just slid it into the first photo holder (and i think put a copy in a safety deposit box). it’s in her bedroom if i ever want to see it

@starbuckslover:  +1 on the feeling that it would be weird to see your birth information on the tree every year. However I feel like the first one is a little plain.

The ones that my Mom has for my sister and I is a pink ornament with a bear on it that says “Baby’s First Christmas – ’88” and a white ornament with Sesame Street characters for my sister.

Browsing through Etsy, however, trying to find different options… I notice that most seem either A) seemingly high-priced or B) something you could make yourself.

Edit: I love the look of this, but it doesn’t seem to have a name or year.
