Okay so my original color was going to be Chartreuse, which I’ve already ordered my lanterns in.. Unfortunately that color is SO freaking hard to find in bridesmaid dresses so we ended up ordering those in apple slice.
This is the dress in “apple slice”. So you ladies help me figure out which lantern is going to go better with that shade of green.. Its a toss between keeping the ones I have or ordering them in grass green.. Thanks for your help!
Chartreuse (what I’ve ordered)
Or Grass Greenn

Grass Green IMO. They are both pretty.

It depends on the look you are going for. Do you want everything matchy matchy?
Sometimes it’s more interesting to have a variety of tones of the same color. In nature you rarely see one solid flat color. There are usually shades of green in leaves, grasses etc.
Remember that the lanterns will be nowhere near the dresses.
The chartreuse is a lovely punch of color. You could easily repeat it in the grasses in your floral arrangements, napkins or napkin rings, votives tec.

This is where we are getting married at.. Behind everyone (Which I wish I had gotten a picture of) is a HUGE tree & we were going to hang the lanterns around the edges of it.. I’ve ordered ivory & also orange to go with it.. I really like the Chartreuse but since I’m using Orange also I don’t want to have too many different greens & it end up being tacky.

gorgeous ceremony site! imo I like the two shades of green together! and I think it will look funky, not tacky with the bridesmaid dresses

I dont think everything has to be the exact same shade of green, you could combine both shades of green

Thanks for your opinions!! I really do like the inspiration board with the different shades of green. I’m having such a hard time with the colors for some reason.
