Ladies, can you share which color your wedding shoes were/are going to be? Did you pick the color based on the color of your dress? was there any other factor you considered?
i am super excited because i just ordered mine this morning. they are carolina blue since my wedding colors are carolina blue and white. here they are (i'm in love):
I think mine are going to be navy with gold details. I wanted a closed-toe shoe, since I'm having a winter wedding, and a significant heel, since that's what I'm happiest in. I don't wear leather, so I turned to all the higher-end leather-free brands I knew of. Stella McCartney doesn't exactly make many white ballgown wedding dress-friendly shoes, so that was out. I then turned to my favorite brand for everyday shoes, Beyond Skin. I found a shoe that's pretty much perfect. Navy is one of our main wedding colors and we are using gold accents throughout, so these really are perfect. For some reason the large image doesn't load but you can view the shoe on the website in the list of all available spring shoes.

Something blue! My foot is a size 11 so it is hard to find shoes for me. I'm also not a shoe girl, so all I really wanted was something blue, not something super fancy.
I am so on this subject also. what I bought and what I were will be a different story. so far they are white and may change to Ivory or something else and I may wear these as second shoes because h2b wants me to wear high heels.. aggggg.
silverbrook.Those are gorgeous. I love blue and purple and more. I love the dyed shoes.. It seems no matter which shoes we choose, we can't go wrong. Only if they hurt our feet. then we went wrong. lol
i picked my shoes because they are so 'me'! the colors are crazy, and they are comfortable! check these suckers out!

Originally I was on the "colored shoe" bandwagon, but eventually I fell in love with these Ivory Badgley Mischkas. They're the perfect heel height for me and match my dress perfectly. :)
@MissPumpkinPenguin: I could totally tell you're from NC b/c you referred to your shoes as "Carolina Blue" - only in NC do we know what color that is!! :)
I'm glad we are not all rubber stamp brides. Same color dress, same shoes, same flowers, etc. we got style ladies.. its out there for us to use it. do it up..

@Candy Nee - hahah, i tend to forget that not everyone knows what "carolina blue" is. i just can't bring myself to call it "sky blue" or "baby blue". i've been too brainwashed by UNC. (go heels!)
Mine are silver. They're from a company called Me Too, and they were like ANGELS singing when I put them on my feet!!!!
Mine are red :) I'll be holding a red roses bouquet -- perfect!
Mine are blue. I chose them because they are feminine and I love them. They are my something blue and there is no other blue in our wedding.

My shoes are metallic. The color is called champagne, but they have both silver and gold in them.
@miss pumpkin - where did you get your shoes? They are so nice!
One pair is white patient leather. The other pair is black. It matches the crenoline i bought for the reception dress.

Mine are YELLOW. They fit our yellow nature wedding (the wood heel for the nature part)
haven't decided yet but i'm thinking a rosy colored pink or black
I love my shoes. They're a champagne colour but really light with a tiny bit of gold trim.
They're from Rachel Simpson Shoes (a UK designer).
I think I want orange shoes. Our colours are brown and orange, and my dress is ivory and I just can't seem to find ivory shoes I like.
Hmmm.... lets try that again....

you guys have some gorgeous shoes. I love them. The gold with the silver is nice because it goes with everything after. The yellow is way different. Love those. and the blues, you guys are going to make me go up in height... I'm going to try ..
