I totally think the wisteria dress is the best chose. Its more purple-y than the first one. That one is nice too but I don't think it'll look as nice with a dark purple dress.
Aw man, the dark puple one didn't show up. What do you think about using "sangria" colored flowers?
They both look great.
It depends on the rest of your color scheme.
If you choose Wisteria, then the rest of your colors should stick with purples, greys, etc.
If you choose Sangria, then you can include fuschias and deep pinks as well with the purples.
The actual sangria swatch looks more of a violet purple so it goes as well. I'm thinking of using deep pink orchids for flowers.
I also forgot to mention that silver is an accent color as well in the wedding! So, I guess I should go with Wisteria..

Definitely go with the Wisteria. I would stay away from the Sangria color in flowers and other stuff, I don't think its as complementary to dark purple.
I just went to a wedding recently where the bridesmaids had 2 different colored dresses, the deep purple Lapis color and more of a lighter purple that looks to be similar to the Wisteria color. I think they would be beautiful together!
id keep in mind the online versions do look a bit different in person, i was so excited about Sangria and ended up really not liking it at the store! By dark purple do you mean Lapis? If so i would go with the wisteria..
I was going to do the two tone looked and choose the Lapis from DB and then the Wisteria. But I couldn't find the same dress in both those colors that looked good on my girls.
I think that laurabee had a great point. The rest of your color scheme is so important. If their dresses are going to be the same and where it will show is not only the pictures later, but the reception. You want to make sure that the accent color can be used through the theme. Would you want to have them where the dresses and they are the only time the guest see that color?
I love the sangria, because i can see being able to bring that color into bouquets easier. I visualize going down the color rainbow, instead of going to the opposite side. I thin it accents it well. My opinion would be more sueded by your other choices of flowers and decor.
Another clue is when you look at the result in the polls are you excited that people agree or disappointed that someone else was right... go with that more than anything.
Hmm, I chose Sangria because I like that color better but now that I look more closely, it would probably clash with a dark purple! Go for the Wisteria as everyone else suggested!

I am talking about the david's bidal sangria, lapis and wisteria. The sangria totally looks plum in real life and looks more purple than it does pink.
I was thinking of "sangria" looking orchids, or dark pink orchids to go with the lapis. I def don't want white flowers. I used this as the inspiration. Do you see sangria in this??

The bridesmaids are wearing dark purple, but 3 other bridesmaids are sponsors and (filipino wedding) will be wearing the same dress, but in another color. Which color do you think goes with dark puple? Sangria or Wisteria?
