A light, dusty blue looks great with lavendar. Or brighter tones of purple (that’s what I did). Turquoise is also a nice suggestion!

We’re using a bit of lavender in our color scheme – which includes light blues and bluey-purples, all the way down to indigo. Think of the color of the mountains at dusk. Soft, but not girly.

sfp:  There are websites that can help you identify and visualize a color palette

http://www.theperfectpalette.com- click on your color and you will see all the palettes they ahve developed using that palette


http://www.design-seeds.com -click on palette search, then search by color value, play around with the tool till you see the lavender you like, then click on Go Get It

sfp:  I had lavender, plum, grey, green, blush, ivory, and silver. Sorry for the large picture, but my wedding cake is the easiest way to show my color pallet. My uplighting in this picture seems dark, but it really was a lavender color in person.
