    1) Please don’t crop any dog’s ears. If it isn’t a working dog there is no need and it is painful. It’s actually illegal in Europe and considered cruel.

    2) Please don’t buy a “designer dog” and support a backyard breeder/puppy mill. There are no reputable breeders that sell mixes. If you want a mix, check petfinder.com or your local pounds— there are always tons of dogs and you can usually find just about any breed!

@AB Bride:  I personally have a Bichon Frise and he’s wonderful! He has a great temperment with everyone (strangers too), he’s cuddly yet sturdy and he’s super cute! And also hypoallergenic 🙂 Good luck on your search!Sorry the pic is SO BIG! LOL

I found my little love from a local breeder. She’s a (now) 6 year old shih-tzu/lhasa-apso mix. I brought her home when she was a baby. She’s 19lbs so not too big and not too small. My dog doesn’t shed so that’s a plus (not sure if that makes her hypo-allergenic?) haha. My parents have a shih-tzu/yorkie mix who is an absolute doll!

Anyways, here’s my baby 🙂  Sorry for the large pic, I’m at work and cannot change the size.

@AB Bride:  Have you considered a Miniature Pinscher? I’ve heard great things about that breed.
