Hi ladies! I went shopping with Big Sis over the weekend and picked out 4 dresses I like a lot. I am plus size and had not anticipated being able to try on a lot of dresses so I am very surprised to have 4 great options, not to mention I tried on about 50 different dresses. Ha. Poor Big Sis.

Anyway, please have a look and let me know which one YOU like the best. I won't let on about which one I favor. Also, promise not to take anything to heart if you have some comments, unless you want to remark that I am looking more stunning than Lady Di herself. ;)

Dress 1 is all satin with some silver beading. It's ivory in color with a champagne band that runs under the bust. There is beading all through the top as well as some at the bottom of the dress with the rest of it being plain.

Dress 2 is satin with a lace overlay. The satin is light gold and the lace overlay is ivory. There is a champagne band that runs under the bust. The dress sparkles like you wouldn't believe without being hooker trashy. The shawl/scarf is an addition, not part of the dress but something that can be ordered to accessorize.

Dress 3 is satin with lace overlay. The entire dress is ivory. The scalloped top mirrors the scalloping on the bottom. The lace hangs over the bottom of the satin by about an inch, giving it a very romantic, elegant feel.

Dress 4 is, once again, satin with lace overlay, except this one is littered with floral appliques. It is the only one of the 4 that has a slim a-line shape where the rest are traditional a-line. The dress is entirely champagne in color.

So.... please vote. :) I have a favorite but in the interest of seeing how the group feels, I won't let on.

I really love 2 and 4! You look the happiest in pic #4... maybe someone said something funny?

Funny that so many of you mention the sweetheart neckline. :) Dress 2 actually has one but there is a lacy modesty piece over it. I want to show off the girls, but not be IN YO FACE about it, you know?

I ended up picking.... DRESS #2!

*wild fanfare and applause*

I picked #2 because it was the most flattering fit in person and the exact color and lace combo I was looking for. I know some of you are not a fan of the "underboob" (hilarious wording) detailing, but I kinda like it. :) I think it draws the eye up and, as a chicka with big hips, that's appealing.

Dress #4 was a very close second but it was more fitted around my hips and I didn't think I would be as comfortable sitting, walking, etc. I have to be in this dress a looooong time. It's breathtaking in person, though. The floral neckline doesn't look as wierd.

Anyway, I fell in love with Dress #2, so it is the winner (winner chicken dinner)!

Four is, by far, my fav on you...you're glowing!!  It's a beautiful gown...it accentuates your figure and it's romantic...and I don't have to say, it's "flattering" (that always makes me cringe)!!  2 is a close second...as a felow plus sized woman, I do not like how #1 fits you (it's the standard type of dress that most stores try to fit a fuller figured woman in and I feel that it make you look frumpy)

I hope you choose the dress that makes YOU happy and think about the day you'll be walking towards your groom...be blessed!!
