I am torn between two dresses an Allure and Maggie Sottero dress. Both are very similar, the one problem is that no one in my area has the Maggie dress for me to try on but that have another Maggie dress that is a similar style.
I wasnt able to get pictures of me in either dress, however I have tried on the Allure dress. Which one do you like more?
#1 Maggie Sottero Jalissa – Front
#2 Allure 8950 Front (in ivory not blush)

The Maggie! I prefer corsets to buttons and LOVE the band vs. the detailing on the Allure. Can you try on a kinda similar Maggie with a drop waist and big skirt to be sure you love the fit of her styling?

I tried on the Allure dress I cant find the Maggie dress anywhere close to try on but I did try on the Maggie Alandra dress which is very similar. My problem with the Allure is the sizing on them and because it is a zipper instead of a corset I would need a lot of alterations done where the Maggie dress just seem to fit better.

The Maggie Alandra dress I tried on over the weekend was gorgeous and the fit of her dresses are amazing. Ironically my prom dress was a Flirt by Maggie Sottero dress. Once a Maggie girl always a Maggie girl 🙂

Love the second dress. I love the asymmetrical cut.

They are so similar, but I think I like the Maggie better

That’s a tough choice… I prefer the corset back of the Maggie but love the asymmetrical cut of the Allure. I don’t think either would be a bad choice!

#1, something about the rouching in this dress is prettier to me =)

Wow, it’s really hard. They’re quite similar.
I like the first one a little bit better, but I’m partial to button backs.
Good luck deciding!!

I love the Allure but I’m a sucker for buttons!

They are extremely similar. I said the first one because there is a bit more interest up top with that little bit of organza coming up at the neckline. It softens it up and makes it more unique IMO.

I haven’t seen either in real life but from the stock photos, I would pick the Maggie with a button back. I like that the ruffles look somewhat softer on the Maggie.

Its official I said yes to the Maggie Sottero dress!! I am absolutely in love with it and probably crazy because I wasnt able to try it on since now one had it. I did try on plenty of other Maggie dress with an identical fit and different skirt pattern. Cant wait for it to come in so I can finally try it on!
