I like the Aria dress the best and I think it would be the most flattering on you.
I dig the Aria. I think it looks best on you. Plus it has pockets - too cool!
I will be the first to say I really like the second one the best on you for sure. The material seems much more flattering on you and the shape itself. In fact, I REALLY like it on you.
My favorite is the Aria because I think it's most flattering. Plus, I love that it has pockets!
I have to agree on number TWO looking most flattering. I don't like the material on the Aria. I don't even like that dress on the model. I think two will look the best in white or ivory.
Dress number two looks the better and really seems to flatter you. I do like dress number 3, but I don't like the material.
I think #2 looks the best on you! I think it is awesome and so pretty. Can't wait to see it in ivory, are you going to post pics?
I think the Jenny Yoo is most flattering on you... I really like the flowy fabric. And I agree that you should shorten the original dress and wear it elsewhere (like your rehearsal dinner)! :)
I think #3 is most flattering to you - they are all beautiful though
I'm torn between #2 and #3. The sweetheart neckline looks great on you but I think it comes down to material preference. I like satin because it looks regal but the chiffon would help breathe a bit more... all depending on comfort.
P.S. POCKETS are awesome. My BM's dresses have pockets and I'm a bit jealous.
I think that once it fits right, #2 will be as flattering as the other two, and I like the style best. #1 just seems too much with all the tiers to the floor... I think your idea of shortening it is a really good one... I feel like it would be awesome at a shorter length.
Um, I love #2 - and looking at all the comments, I don't think we're making your decision any easier!
I think it's the most flattering in the boob area and has a nice waistline for you.
I love the 1st and 3rd equally so I say do the 3rd as THE dress and then do the 1st as the shortened afterparty one you mentioned. Best of both!
I like the aria dress better. For some reason it just stands out to me, maybe it is the fabric.
#1 - Dana you are gorgeous!!
I think I like the Jenny Yoo the best. That sweetheart is just perfect on you! The Aria is gorgeous too, but you look so sad in the picture and that makes me sad. :-(
Aw, thanks, Adeline!
I was kind of sad in pic #3 because right before my mom took it, she said that I looked like I'd gained weight. Ugh.
So, some details:
I agree that dress #1 is the most flattering on me, but I think that's because it actually FITS, where #2 is too small and #3 is too big.
I think that, right now, I'm leaning towards the Jenny Yoo. But I really need to see how it looks on me when it fits, and when it's white.
But thanks for the input, everyone! I appreciate it!
I think the Jenny Yoo will look the most flattering iin the correct size. The Aria while nice is not making the most of your beautiful curves. The draping on the bodice of the Jenny Yoo is to die for, you will look stunning.
I really like #1 and #2. #1 is especially fun and whimsy (I'll probably love it even more with the modifications you listed!). #2 in white will look amazing on you.
my work computer must not be able to view some of your photos b/c i'm assuming all of them have photos of you with the manufacturers' pictures.. booo.
my opinion though, after reading some of your posts and getting a feel for the look you're going for, I would say that dress 3 (Aria) would work best. I like that it's already got the sweetheart bustline, I LOVE the pockets, and I think it's classic AND modern at the same time. You could play around with accessories all you wanted and they'd work. With the Jenny Yoo (though i love it, and the whole freakin' line) it's a little more romantical with the ruching - you might be more limited with how you can accessorize. If you get the Aria, you can change your mind down the road a little easier if you find THE THING that you really like w/out having to replace.
I think that first dress will look better shortened, also. Win-Win! I can't wait to see your whole look put together - you can do a special on it for your website :)
I love the Jenny Yoo (in the right color of course :-) )

Okay, so I've narrowed my options down to three (possibly four, but I haven't tried the 4th one on yet so for now we'll concentrate on three).
Dress #1 is one I actually own. It's a prom dress from David's that I got for a STEAL. If I wear this, I'll remove the sash and straps and have the bustline altered into a more flattering sweetheart shape. (If I don't wear this to the wedding, I'll shorten it and wear it to the after party).
This is it on the 12 year-old model:
Dress #2 is the Margeaux by Jenny Yoo. It's actually a bridesmaid dress but it comes in white. Unfortunately, the store I went to only had it in purple, but I'm going to their NYC flagship tomorrow to try it on in white. Until then, here it is in purple. I had to lighten the photo a bit in Photoshop so that you could see the detail. And it was way too small, so imagine that it actually fits.
This is it in white:
Dress #3 is by Aria. This one was way too big and I was also braless in this photo. So please ignore how it looks on, It's still a very simple, pretty dress.
And this is the dress on the model.
So, I ask of you: if all the dresses actually FIT me correctly, which one would you like the best?
