I’m having a really hard time deciding which dress to pick.
I have narrowed down my picks to these two but need your opinion. They both look very nice on me, given I’m 5’1 and thin (petite).
The thing is that mermaid style I think is too sexy, and although I do want to look sexy on my wedding day, I also want to look classic. The lace is gorgeous and I think it goes more with an outdoors-classic-semi- formal- style wedding. See picture of the venue.
On the other hand, dress #1 is too puffy and has a long train, in my opinion. The bead work on the bodice is just beautiful. They said they can make a shorter train, and also take in from the skirt so it doesn’t look as puffy, which is what I want.
What do you think?

#1 is stunning, they both are, but #1 is my pick.

I think they’re both beautiful dresses and without seeing them on you, it seems like you’re leaning towards 1 and I prefer non-mermaid style type dresses (I agree, they’re usually a bit “sexy” so if you’re not going for that..).. I would pick the first dress! Your poll isn’t set up yet, btw.

Do you have a pic of yourself in the dresses or similar silhouettes?

I like 2 just because its less material and seems more tropical feeling (based on the palm trees at the venue)
