I need major help. I just spent hours trying on different types of dresses for my bachelorette party. I liked quite a few of them but just couldn’t decide what type of look to go for. I’m having my bachelorette in NYC so I want to be fairly dressy. I have an ok body but am body-conscious….so I feel really uncomfortable in very tight fitting/revealing clothing. But I want to look good! I also don’t party a lot so shopping for a party dress is hard!! Do you bees like any of these picks??
These are all Kensie or Jessica Simpson dresses, if anyone’s wondering!

For those saying keep looking…do you have any suggestions? Or comments? Please post pics if you have any! I’m kind of at a loss here haha

I voted for the first dress, but it would really depend on how it looks on you. A lot of those dresses look good on only certain body types.
My personal style rejects dresses 2-5.

My favourite is the ‘first set, left side’ because it’s colourful and fun.

I was going to say the exact same thing.

@cestvrai: it’s almost impossible to say what will look best without knowing your body shape. Any chance you could post a photo and just crop out your face if you are concerned about annonymity?

Where are you going? These dresses aren’t particularly dressy or “bachelorette” party, but it totally depends on where you’re going.

I picked 2nd set right side because it gives you a bit of a blank canvas to work with accessories.

I like the first set, middle best. And the peplum (bottom left) second. But I like dresses with structure. If the bottom set, right had a little more structure (not just that elastic line, but proper seams, etc.) I’d vote for it. That elastic only look can make it look too baggy on some body types – even if its the correct size.

My favorite is the first set, right side! But a lot of these are great!

@WestCoastV: Thanks for your help! Here are some pics of me trying on dresses:
The one on the left, I really liked but FI said it looked like I was wearing batman’s cape…I might have just liked it because it was so comfortable, lol
The middle one is the same as “second set, left side” but with a different pattern. I thought this looked just ok on me.
The one on the right is “first set, middle”…I loved this dress, but I’m not sure it’s sexy enough or dressy enough for the bachelorette party.
@JrzyGurl: Thanks for commenting! we’re going out to dinner and then bars/dancing. I don’t know the details because I’m not involved in the planning… Can you give me an example of what might be more bachelorette party-ish? I’ve never been to NYC so I need lots of help figuring out what’s appropriate!
@sostobe: Definitely agree…I’m not a big fan of the elastic waist because usually they make me look bigger and get baggy on the top. Thanks!

@cestvrai: Love the middle dress!

@cestvrai: I voted on a different one but I like the one on the left. Men don’t know fashion, don’t listen to him. I feel like it’s very NYC bachelorette. My NYC bach is next week! Though I’m doing a shirt and jeans because I just want to keep things laid back and it’s just. so. cold.

@cestvrai: in the photos where you are trying them on, I like the one on the right best, followed by the one on the left. With the right heels and accessories, it could definitely look dressy enough. That’s the upside to a simple LBD you can dress it up or down.

I don’t really like any of those. I bought a bunch from http://www.rosegal.com/dresses-31/ and because they were so inexpensive I got a few! They won’t be here for a few weeks but looking forward to seeing how they look.
