I think the Anthro one is too complicated for the place, IMO. Also, I'm partial to green :)
they're both adorable! but i think you'll pop out more in the green... you may get lost in the mosaics if you wear the anthro. they'll be beautiful :-) i wish my mom would let me get e-pics...

I love the location! I have never heard of it, but I really want to go see it! I voted for the green dress because I hate mixing black with bold colors. Just a little "rule" I picked up from Trinny and Suzanne (spelling?) a long time ago. I think the green dress will look awesome in your pics!
The green will be PERFECT. You will stand out more in a solid color against such an intricate background.

Awesome location! Both dresses are really cute, but I think the green dress will really pop and go well with the environment, whereas the other's neutral tones may get a little lost but be perfect for a wedding.

Photographers always say to wear solid colors for e-pics. The green dress is beautiful!!!!
The green for the engagement shoot!!! I think it will look great against the mosaic! The other dress is a retty party dress and has too much going on for such a busy background in the shoot. I love that color and can really imagine it looking good in the photos!

I think the ModCloth dress is ideal - engagement photos look best when the couples are wearing single, bold colors. Sometimes patterns and detail can make the photos look a little too busy. You want the focus to be on you and the groom-to-be. =)
Whilst I LOVE the first dress more, the second will look better in that location I think. The solid green will pop, where as the first one will disappear.
I think the green dress would look better because your e-pics location is colorful and you would look like a beautiful manikin type future bride.

I finally convinced the boy to get engagement pics. Yay!
We're going to do them at Philadelphia's Magic Garden, which is basically a giant mosaic installation a couple of city blocks wide (we considered having the wedding there but it would've been complicated). Here are some photos:
So I've ordered two different dresses. I'm planning on wearing one to a wedding I'll be attending in a few months, and another for the engagement pics, but I'm not sure which one to wear to which.
So, tell me. Which dress would look better against the mosaic backdrop?
