I love #2 and that was my pick until I found #1. LOL I'll go ahead and give away my fave. I might just buy both. She can be the first two dress flower girl. :)
They're all cute, but I think #2 is my favorite. It's a cute mix of preppy (with the "stripes") and girly (with the ruffles).
For a six year old I definitely say the first one!! It's girlie and gives her a chance to run around and play.
I still like the 2nd! But I do like the 3rd one better in navy.
Yeah, the other thing I like about the second one (as I think about it) is that it sort of gives reference to a sailor dress with the vertical stripes without being overtly nautical. Think that works great with your venue. (Did I sound like Tim Gunn there? ;))
i like the second and third, but the first just seems...i dunno, wrinkly? i know you said it isn't really, but 2 is just so darling...and third is classically cute.
I think I'm going to get #1 and #2 and try them on her. I'll probably have to buy them in a size larger for the actual vr, but I should try them on her now and see how they hang, fit, etc. Because you can't hem a bubble skirt or the silk one might be too wrinkly, so that will be helpful to know.
I originally voted for #1, but then I saw the dresses in Navy! #1 looks better light, #2 & #3 look amazing in navy.
I change my vote to: Navy blue #3, long sleeve dress!
i think #2 is adorable and totally voted for that one before i saw them in navy. I still think it's great but #3 is way cute in navy! i would probably choose #3 now, but they are all adorable!
Going by your descriptions, I think you like number 2 best.
Going by what I see, not a fan of number one, and number three if I was a six year old in Florida heat in that dress...I would be throwing a fit :D :D I really like number two best.
I almost voted number 1, but I really like what number 2 looks like in navy! So cute!
I don't think it's too much... If you were going barefoot on the beach, it might be a little much. But because you're going with cocktail chic, I think the dress is perfectly fitting :)
As for the heat factor, I'm a west coast girl so I guess I never really thought about the heat! I'm always a little chilly at some point during the day & when I think October I think sweaters lol. Would it be too sticky for her to be comfortable? A happy FG is waaay more important than style lol. She's a cute little 6 year old, she could pull off a paperbag!
See, in October in FL, it could be 85* or it could be 75*. She would DIE if it was hot. She HATES to be hot. Hmm. I'm still undecided. My husband likes the first one and I like both #1 and #2. I think she would probably like either one, but the flower on first one might pull the win out for it. :)
I just checked out the dress online at jcrew & they have a pic of a real girl in the first dress! These pictures never look as fabulous as they do on a real person! It's really cute :)
Haha holy monopolizing the post... okay I'm done now!
It's ok! I like the opinions. I really like both dresses, so I think I'll order them. I'll let you know!
I'm a huge fan of #1, but oh well... What can I say, I'm a slave to slim cuts and you can tell from my own wedding dress. Post pictures of your daughter in the dresses?
I will! Here's a random picture of her to give you a mental image of her cuteness. :)
The third one is precious and seems to be pretty versatile for other events.
I heart #1. It's super cute just like her! I love cutesie clothes on little kids anyways =]. And i love me some jcrew, too.
I'm showed Lil the dresses this morning before school and she said she wants them both...in pink. @@ What a help she is!
um, she is REALLY cute...shes beautiful! And I am looooooving number 1 - my colors are navy too!
@KellyV~ Thanks! We like her. :) She's as sweet and smart as she is cute...and she's got attitude like her mama.
Cutest. Thing. Ever! :) She's going to be adorable in anything!!
I just want to pinch her cheeks lol! She's adorable!!
Aww thanks ladies. The votes are so close! I think I'm leaning towards #1 because I think it will be more comfy for dancing and playing. But, I'm going to order both soon and see. Keep the votes coming!
Since I'm a mom and we do things like this, here is another pic. LOL I'm shameless.:)

The only true attendant we have for our vow renewal is our daughter who will be 6 at the time of the ceremony. We're having a 5pm beach ceremony in October with a outdoor reception on the town green/courtyard. We're leaning towards requesting cocktail attire on the invitation, because we don't want people showing up in shorts and short sleeve button downs. Not that our friends dress like that normally, but you know how it goes. My husband will be wearing a blazer, khakis and tie {or maybe a suit} and I will be wearing a long gown...though not the one I talked about the other day!
Our "colors" are navy, aqua and white. Her eyes look fantastic when she wears navy and it suits her skin tone, so I'm leaning towards that. It's also more Fall-ish, which I would like to play up I think. The dresses are all JCrew, I'm a huge fan of the fit and quality! She'll be able wear any of these for parties, special events, plays etc. afterwards, so that's a plus. All of the dresses come in navy, but I posted the pink/peach/purple pictures to show the details of each dress.
Enough talking, here are the dresses...
#1 is silk with metal threads woven in the fabric. Yes, it's supposed to be wrinkled, though in other pictures I've seen it's not THAT wrinkled.
#2 is cotton organdy, which is not as silky as typical organdy. Has more shape and holds up more than you would think. Doesn't wrinkle at all. It's kinda crazy. LOL
#3 is taffeta
