My rehearsal dinner will be in a private room at a restaurant starting at 6:30pm, for about 30 people. There are going to be a couple passed hors d’oeuvres and then a three course menu that includes dessert. My fiance and I had suggested that we do something really casual, or at least more casual than the wedding which will be semiformal; however, the location and the menu don’t seem casual to me. So I am trying to decide if one of these dresses would be appropriate to wear.
Here’s a picture of the room which looks out onto the river.

I think dress #2 is pretty damn phenomenal…where is it from?!

Dress 1 is too busy, dress 2 is amazing!

@Miss Orchard: It’s a Lela Rose dress on Rent the Runway, actually they both are.

I agree with the other girl, 1 is way too busy. 2 is absolutely gorgeous though!

2 is so pretty! plus, you’re getting the blue in. I feel like people usually wear blue or white to bridal events, at least thats what I’ve seen most often.

How tall are you?
I adore the first dress. Really, I think it’s stunning. But if you’re under 5’7″ and at all curvy it might be tough to pull off.
The secod dress is very pretty, not as wow! but still great and would be a better choice for most body types.

the second one is stunning!

I’ll say pick the second one! Elegant & classy!

#2! I love the color and fabric!

I really love the pattern in dress 1, but the cut on dress 2! But that’s just my taste.
