i have posted before about dress worries but I have narrowed it down to two dresses! but I just wanted to get some opinions about which dress suits the venue better in an attempt to help me choose between them!
This is my venue
This is dress number one, essence of australia
This is dress number two, belle by Alfred Angelo
unfortunately i don’t have a picture of me in the dress as the shop wouldn’t allow photos…but ive posted the designer pics to give you an idea. any opinions would be appreciated!
EDIT: sorry for massive pics!

I think a ballgown would be more appropriate, since your venue looks grand and elegant. 🙂

IT all really depends on what look you are going for. Those dresses are two completely different looks. One is chic and the other is classic ballgown. If you are going for a fairy tale princess look I would go with #2. If you are going for a more modern wedding I would choose number 1.

I might be biased because I love Disney and the Alfred Angelo collection but I really love the dress and it definitely fits the venue well

Definitely #2, I love the Belle dress, it is the only dress I have tried on so far, and it is so elegant 🙂

thanks for the comments! my main reserve on going for the ballgown is that although i think it suits this venue better this is only where the ceremony is being held, the reception is being held at a hotel which although is nice its not quite as grand as this lol. so i’m worried it’ll look abit over the top for the reception venue. i think they’re both gorgeous but so different which is why im having trouble deciding!
also you can’t really see in the picture but there is beading all down the sides of the essence dress….just realised it looks quite plain in that pic!

Either would work. I’m not convinced the venue has to dictate your dress. My wedding is outdoors on a bay in Florida (not beach) and I’m wearing the Maggie Sottero Divina. Most people think it’s too “fancy” for an outdoor wedding but I love it. It’s all about what you envision for your wedding day. Personally, I don’t like ballgowns, so I say go with the first dress.

Depends on the look you want… Personally I like the first one.
