Need some help ..which one should i go with? They are both Maggie Sottero.
I really like this for the lace and vintage-y look..it has this amazing illusion train, but i'm not sure if its too straight for me.

This next dress, really took my breath away. its so simple, but yet so unique. My one concern is that it might kind of swallow me. Maybe I can shorten the train?

They're both beautiful!! But I do think the second one gives you more shape. When I look at the first one, I find myself wanting to move the small sash to your waist to give it more definition. If you like the lace, I'm sure there's a dress out there like that - I just don't know what it is off the top of my head : )
Ooh, now I can see them! Love love love the second one, you look gorgeous! I agree that the lace would work with more definition but I really like the strapless look on you.
I love the lace as well, but I think the 2nd one is much more flattering on you. Good luck!
I think the second one looks best on you. The column silhouette of the first dress doesn't seem to suit you as well. I feel like those kind of dresses look best on really tall girls.
ditto, #2 is much more flattering. the first one kind of misses the mark on defining your shape. the flare at the bottom of the second one really balences out the top and gives the illusion of more curves.
Both dresses are beautiful and look great on you. I agree with the ladies above and vote for the second one (maybe because it reminds me of my own dress and I am a little biased). Seriously though, the second one is very glamorous on you. I think I would like the first one better if the ribbon under your bust was at the waist.
Both are beautiful, I love lace dresses, but I agree that the 2nd one is more flattering on you- the flare at the bottom and on the train adds a unique touch and really makes the dress.
#2 is way more flattering! Seriously - it looks amazing! The straps on the lace one are angled oddly and don't do a darn thing for you but the strapless looks fantastic. It really works for you.
I think the 2nd one is GORGEOUS on you. Definitly gives you better shape! Love it!
Yeah I agree with what others have said, I like the second dress better on you.
thanks ladies :D
does the train enhance my backside too much? or do you think if the dress was in my size it'd be ok...
#2! it doesn't even come close to swallowing you, it adds curves in all the right places! LOVE IT!
Oh, i forgot to add, when I was trying on gowns the one i ended up buying seemed to make my rear look larger too, but i was trying on a "too big" dress, and yes, when I had the right dress on everything hugged and laid the way it was supposed to! Gorgeous and I think you will look great!
You should put a poll on this!
I agree that the first dress might be too straight for your figure; #2 seems more flattering to your shape. But they're both lovely; I don't think you would go wrong with either.
I also like dress 2! You look so good in it!
PS, The last picture looks like 2 people trying on the same dress, then I realized the other girl just has on one that is very similar.
haha, that dress the other girl was trying on was amazingly gorgeous on her..but did not look right on me at all..just goes to show, there's not one dress that works for all =)
@Marigold..i tried to add a poll, but don't think i can do it after creating the post
hmm..was just thinking, should i try something that is more structured looking? vs flowy? Sorry, lack of proper terminology.
lol..why are you worried about your rear looking larger..i think the second one is beautiful and when its altered it will look perfect..its not going to swallow you at all
I love the second one on you, it looks awesome. From the side picture I can see why you are concerned, but I think it's just that the dress is too big and once you have one that is fitted it will look perfect.
I'm going against the grain here and saying that I actually really love #1!! I think it's gorgeous, I love the neckline, the lace and the shape...Much more interesting than the other one, I think the 2nd is a little well, under-whelming, I guess...If you're not in love with the first one then I vote to keep looking!
i think #2 definitely flatters your shape more! they are both beautiful though!
I think dress #2 looks BEAUTIFUL on you! I don't think you need to shorten the train or anything. Once it's actually fitted to you I think it'll be perfect. I love it!!
I think #2 is very flattering on your shape, and I'm not a big fan of lace (I know a lot of you disagree with me ::insert ashamed face here::). I also love the bottom of dress #2. Pair it with some nice accessories, and you'll look absolutely lovely.
I like dress #2. Though #1 is pretty too, I just think it ages you more, honestly! I like the modern look of #2.
i voted for number 2...however, if the ribbon on number one were moved to your waist instead of under your boobs, i think it would great, too :-) you have a very cute hour glass figure and i say let's show it off!
