I'm not a fan of pick ups :)
I like the first one - it's a bit softer and i love the dramatic sweetheart neckline!
The first one seems a little more dated. The second one is a little more classic. I voted for the second one. Both have the ornate detailing which is pretty. Do both dresses fit well with your venue?
Need to see the gowns on you to judge better, but just by these pics, I like #2 better. I don't like pick-ups AT ALL so I'm biased. 
My favorite one is dress # 2 , but dress number 1 is still an option. I agree dress # 2 is more classic. Yes , my dress matches my venue. I am having an outdoor wedding.
I agree about not being a fan of pick ups so I would pick #2. However keep in mind that how a dress looks on a model won't be the same as what it does on folks in real life. But you need to try both of those on (and other styles as well) to see what is most flattering on you.

I like #2. I love the sleeves and the dress draws attention up to your face. I feel like the first one draws my attention to the bottom of the dress.
I prefer #2. It looks less fussy to me. But I'd need to see you in the dress and know more about the style you're ultimately trying to achieve to really choose one.
I actually like the top of #1, but prefer the skirt on #2. Both are beautiful though!
number two - straps are very pretty, overall looks more elegant and timeless. not a fan of pickups, personally..
I like the second one better. The first one has way too much going on with the detailing, the pick ups and dramatic sweetheard.
Im going for something very elegant. I think I have decided on number 2.
