Oops, I think I may have just posted this twice, sorry! I'm new LOL!
I went dress shopping today and found two that I really like. The satin dress is a Maggie Sottero and I loved how it felt and looked. I didn't get any information on the other dress, because I didn't think I liked it. I just got home though, and when I was looking at the pictures, I actually like the second one a lot!
What do you think?

i love the lace on the second, but i think the first one looks better on you!! either way they are both amazing dresses!!!!
I really love the first one on you. Though the lace on the second one is pretty too. The tops seem very similar. Which one are you leaning towards the most?
The first dress, DEFINITELY!! It's so elegant, I love the silk!
OMG! the 2nd dress is the Casablanca 1992! i love that dress & cant wait to try it on!! they both look beautiful on you.
I definitely think the first dress looks better, it flatters your body better!
I love the first one, and I think the more subtle sweetheart is more flattering than the exaggerated one on the second dress.
They are both SO pretty!! I'm leaning towards the first one, but I don't think you could go wrong with either of them!!
Oh my! I LOVE the second dress. I can't believe everyone's picking the first one. It's nice but looks like a million other dresses I've seen posted here, whereas the second one looks different and eye catching and so romantic.

Tough call! I think I like the second one more though. The lace is gorgeous and I think its more flattering. Either way you're going to end up with a beautiful dress. They're both very pretty.
i ended up buying a satin dress for the exact reasons you said. i loved the way it felt on, it was like butter. i could move around so easily in it, so so need to change or be worried the whole night about something happening to my dress (like it ripping or something from being so bulky).
That second dress is so STUNNING! I changed dresses after seeing myself in photos of them. A lot of places don't allow pictures, so when I brought my camera, I told the lady it was just for at the store and we would erase the photos right there. She was ok with that. Something about cameras makes you really change your mind!

@Mrs. Menard to Be - Good call on the designer/style! I'm glad that I looked at the link for that dress because the one I tried on was WAY too big for me... and when I pulled up the casablanca website, the neck line is not nearly as dramatic as it looked on me since it was so big. That was the feature that I really liked about it:

They both look amazing on you, but the first one looks easier to move around in (my #1 criteria) and also shows off your shape more
I think they are both gorgeous, and either would be an awesome choice, but I personally like the Maggie more!! :)

@GoodGolly - no problem! i was so excited to see a real bride in that dress. ive been dreaming about it for months :) i actually voted for the first dress though, it looks great on you and is extremely flattering. you can't go wrong with either dress...they both look amazing.
I really like them both!!! I don't think that you could go wrong, but I would go with your first instinct if you didn't like the 2nd one when you tried it on then it probably isn't the one (I voted for it though because I love the lace)! :)
THe Maggie one is great! A beautiful fabric and an unexpected silhouette.

The first one hugs you in all the right places. It is extremely flattering for your body shape. I'd definitely pick the first! Also, judging by your reaction when you were actually wearing it, it sounds like you felt like the first one was your dress. If you didn't notice the other one until you got home, it's probably not the one you truly love.

Both of them do look good on you but I have to agree with the others and say the first one looks better on you. I'm glad you were able to make a decision and I think the dress looks great on you!
