I’m not a big fan of either of these two specific dresses but I think you can pull off both shapes
they look good but arent my style… I think you could do better. You said nothing about you your dress hunt or how you feel in them so it’s hard to judge
The form fitting one would be absolutely gorgeous with a timeless veil! However, they’re both beautiful i just think form fitting is more flattering when you have a dress that fits well!
OMG def the second. I hate to say it, but the first is not flattering for your shape. And believe me, you habe a great shape. The second dress makes you look 30lb slimmer.
The second is definitely more flattering.
Well, it seems that I love the “idea” of a ball gown but the only part of me that is emphasized is my fat arms. I never thought I would like the form fitting type but maybe it looks better? My hips and legs are not that flubbery but my arms are so maybe I should not cover up one of my slimmer parts with the full skirt?
The second is more flattering. I really don’t care for the first dress…it looks dated. I say the 2nd or keep looking!
I think you’re better than these- keep looking!
It was my first day out and I was trying to zero in on a shape that was good for my body type. I am surprised that the form fitting one seems to look better out of the two. I have another appt on Thursday at a different salon. I do think the first ball gown style looks sort of dated too. I have to be careful becasue I am 43 so I could easily be attracted to something old school!! I want to look classic and elegant but have a hard to fit upper shape.
