ALSWM:  I heard it’s best to get a dress that’s slightly off white (or ivory) when going with satin, otherwise it may look blue in photos in some light. Otherwise if it’s also a matte satin, it should be fine. There are a LOT of photos of Maggie Sottero’s Adorae online, it was really popular for a few years, and is a satin gown. I used that as a comparison as you can see so many different types of lighting and shades of white, to get an idea 🙂

I like dress 2. 🙂 I am no expert on the satin reflecting the light strangely though!

I actually like Dress #1 WITH the panel overlays. I think it fits you beautifully.

I love dress 1!!! It’s unique and classy, dress 2 I feel like I’ve seen a million times.

I like the first one a lot better. The second one just doesn’t do it for me

#1 by a long shot.  #2 Is way too common and, TBH, I hate lumpy skirts like that.

I prefer number one, a bit more quirky and still classic.

If satin isn’t your first choice and you’re hesitating, might it be worth carry on looking?

ALSWM:  For me it was easy. I think dress #1 is really unique and lovely! With so many dresses that look alike it was really refreshing to see this one! And I’m afraid I haven’t been a fan of the type like in dress #2. It just says mummy to me.
