I LOVE the first one on you! It's a gorgeous dress, different from what I've seen, and absolutely beautiful on you!
The Popy! I like it the best and I think it looks best on you ;) Let us know what you decide.
I love the first three on you. The first is definitely the most unique, but the other two are very classy and all three look amazing. I voted #1 but adore #2 as well (I seriously considered this dress).
Thanks for the replies everyone!!! You guys are quick.
I forgot to mention that I'm looking for a classic/timeless dress. I like looking at everyone in the modern dresses with the pickups and tiered ruffles, but that is just not me.
I have been leaning towards Poppy (the first dress) but I want to make sure its the right choice.
I really love the 3rd one, the Sharon on you the best. I think out of all of them, it's the most flattering and it's just beautiful. The 1st is pretty and I like it because it's unique but it really does nothing for your figure.
I adore the first dress! When I saw it my first reaction was "what is this dress and why didn't I try it??". Then I saw the name and remembered I DID try it, and it made me look like a tree trunk. It looks fabulous on you.
I love the 1st one - so beautiful and unique! Seems like the perfect color, too!
I would choose #2, but I don't have a fair vote because I ordered Casablanca 1955... but for YOU I think #1 looks AMAZING on you!
I actually like them in the exact order you posted them! The Poppy is amazing. It's unique and very flattering. Go for it!
I like dress #1 and #4. The other two don't do your shape enough justice IMO. However they do all look nice!
I love the first one. I think it goes perfectly with your "outdoor/vintage" theme. It also gives you an amazing figure in the picture and you say it didn't fit that well so it'll look stunning when it fits perfectly.
I’ve never seen dress 1 before. Love it. Dress 3 is great too. But you couldn’t go wrong with dress 2 either. Ahhh!
Without question, #1. Amazing. It's the only one that made me say, "Wow!" After that, I like #3, but it's a very distant second. #2 doesn't look special in any way to me; #4 is too poofy for my taste. Go with your gut!!
#3 has to be my favorite, if it weren't for the ribbon (just the brooch). i think that style fits you perfectly. However, a close second is @2. Good luck with finding your dress!
I like the Casablanca! I think in this one, people's eyes will look at you wearing the dress, not the dress wearing you (if that makes sense). Really though, you've got a great shape and you'll be a gorgeous bride in any of them!!
By the way, I know what you mean about Casablanca's ivory being like white. My Casablanca is ivory and I keep telling people it's like a really really light ivory.
I'm biased because I almost went with Casablanca 1827 myself but I think it's really classic and beautiful and everyone I've seen it in online looks gorgeous. just my two cents ...
@marissa227 Its funny what you said about the wearing the dress- not having the dress wear you. My mom said the same thing about the Poppy at first. I think the problem is that the hips and top of the skirt are about 4 sizes too big! When we held it together in the back, it looked more like the dress wasnt wearing me.
The Casablanca ivory is a beautiful color. I was just worried that it would look too white for my fall wedding. If the 1827 would've been in a champagne color, I would've bought it on the spot. I think you can order some Casablanca's in champagne, but I'm not sure about the 1827
I'm partial to the Chardonnay because it's my wedding gown as I'm also getting married this October, but honestly the poppy is it for you! It looks gorgeous on you....they all do but the Poppy says wow! :-) Congratulations and I pray the weather is great on your day....please do the same for me! (I'm an outside bride too!!) :-)

So Ive been shopping for a dress on and off since last July. I'm getting down to the wire on ordering a dress for my Oct 2011 wedding. My problem is that I like alot of dresses except for one detail. I know dresses can be custom ordered, but with my time frame and budget that seems out of the question. I would LOVE to hear what you guys think!!! Which one would you choose???
Dress 1: Maggie Sottero Poppy. I adore the light gold color and the lace. Not sure about the dropped waist and if it makes me look short. The sample was huge on me (esp in the hips) and the salon doesnt believe in clipping dresses.
Dress 2: Casablanca 1827. Im in love with the neckline and beading on this one. The only dealbreaker is that the ivory looks really white. I really want the light gold/champagne/rum color.
Dress 3: Maggie Sottero Sharon. First I thought this one was too formal for my outdoor wedding. Now, Im trying to go with outdoor meets vintage/classy so I think it wouldnt look out of place. I love the jeweled belt and lace. The sample fits perfectly, so that would save some $$$ also!
Dress 4: Maggie Sottero Chardonnay. The color and neckline are to die for on this dress. Its wayyy too formal for an outdoor wedding and the train is huge. I feel amazing in it, but Im not sure a ballgown is my style (just turned the big 30).
