We’re taking our engagement pics this sunday at Fi’s family farm. So excited but I have no idea what to wear! I’ll probably be wearing two outfits, which do you like best?
Sorry the phone pics are pretty blurry.

@MrsN14: 1 and 3 are the best!!!! 🙂

I like 1 and 3. 1 has a really nice bold modern pattern which might be a nice contrast against a more natural and romantic background and 3 would blend really well. both really good options IMO 🙂

@MrsN14: I love outfit #1 with the boots!

I’m against print when taking pics I chose option #3

@MrsN14: Anything but #1! Prints and patterns generally do not look good in portrait sessions.

I LOVE option 3 for a dress and 4 for more casual…. Like, seriously love number 4. Mint and white? Does it get anymore summery fresh than that??? The only reason I’m not loving #2 is bc it looks more like a fall outfit, and considering the sweltering heat… well, it ain’t fall lol.
Ok, so where did you get the mint shirt and white capris bc my photos are next week and I might just have to be a copy cat lol!!!
looks gorgeous… love it

Thanks everyone! I had not thought about the patterns in photographs, that could be an issue.
@MrsPhilly: Thanks! The shirt is from Express and the capris are from Kohls.

I’ll add since I noticed that the chevron dress is leading the votes, that I love that bold pattern as well, and I’ve heard patterns aren’t great in photos, but I think sometimes they can jazz up a photo. I didn’t choose it not bc of the pattern, but more so bc it doesn’t show how slender and curvy you are the same way the 3rd dress does. The 3rd dress shows your awesome body better.. I’d go with it for that reason… and it’s a softer, more feminine look

@MrsN14: argh!!!! Figures! I’m pretty sure we don’t have either of those stores here in Canada…. if we do I’ve never seen them! Oh well, I’m not quite as slim as you so probably wouldn’t flatter me

I like option 3, but I’d ask your photographer beforehand. My photographer changed our shoot location when I told her what I wanted to wear! She had a different idea that was going in a totally different direction.

I love the dress in #1. However…the chevron dresses are really ‘in’ right now. It seems that in 20 years, they might look really dated. Dunno, just a thought. I love #3 though! And 2 is super cute for the farm.

One and three are the best IMO. The first dress is beautiful.

@MrsN14: I like #2 and #3. Can you toss a sweater or short jacket over the dress to switch things up a bit?
